It is truly easy to engage your faith when you don't need it to survive. With our every need taken care of, faith comes easy. What happens when the river runs dry and you need water. Does your faith say, "I'm OK everything is great."? Most of us would have to say no. Faith is the opposite of what we see. Hebrews 11:1 talks about faith being an assurance of what we can't see actually happening. We need to learn to engage our faith so we get results. We can engage by stepping out and standing on God's word even though we can't see the pathway before us. We do this every day in the natural. We have faith in the electricity in our homes. We engage in that faith by flipping on the switch without a thought that it won't come on.
Let's respond to God's call to let our faith loose. Live life to the fullest by not only trusting God but by moving forward hand in hand with Him, not just trying to see the pathway ourselves.. Close contact with Him allows us to stay right where He desires us to be.
