Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about how God uses music and worship to convey a message to our spirit. God is so creative and unique in how He interacts with us. I want to share something that God shared with me several years ago that portrays His awesomeness. Below is what He gave to me:

A couple of weeks ago during a Sunday morning worship service at our church, the Lord spoke the strangest thing to my spirit. He told me to write an article for one of our newsletters using only the titles of Christian songs, hymns and choruses. As I prayed about this I said, “How would I even know what I was trying to say or convey in this article?” The more I prayed about it the more the Lord said, “Do it and I will put it all in order, what I want will come out of it and it will speak to different people in different ways.” I started by quickly going though a Hymn Book, marking pages. He gave me this group of songs to use, all in about ten minutes with no rhyme or reason. As I reviewed them, He began to put them in order. It is song titles only. No ifs, and or etc. I hope it speaks to you because it was put together by the Holy Spirit. It is a sermon in itself.

Fling Wide the Pearly Gates. Now the Day is Over. Hallelujah! “ ‘Tis Done, I Will Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving.
One other thing about music, it can be very prophetic and powerful. One of my favorite songs of all time was written in 1970 by Gloria Gaither. The title is "The King is Coming". Read this first verse carefully in light of where we are today. Are we ready to RIDE?
The marketplace is empty
No more traffic in the streets
All the builder's tools are silent
No more time to harvest wheat
Busy housewives cease their labors
In the courtroom no debate
Work on earth is all suspended
As the King comes thro' the gate
Find this song and play it, it will challenge you. God truly does conduct the music.
Have a Blessed Day
